I would like to introduce another brand today!
They are a brand that mainly specializes in formal wear for children.
How incredibly cute is that!
They also make clothes in larger sizes, ie. 150-170cm in height.
Like the below!
Oh my gosh, sailor dresses!!!
I think these are fine if you are short (like me) and also have no boobs (like me!).
I’m not sure if I should happy or sad about that, haha.
However! They also have a small selection of adult clothes including shoes.
Today, I’d like to review 2 pairs of shoes I bought!
I got the pink ribbon shoes below which cost 6,362yen.
Don’t they just look like the epitome of girlyness???
Here’s how they look in real!
And up close!
And from the side.
The buckles are heart shaped too!
These shoes are made in Japan.
They are a made from a soft synthetic leather and there is some give in the material even at the toes.
I really like the little ruffles that they added as it’s an extra detail that really makes the shoe unique!
The shoes aren’t entirely well cushioned, but I think I’m used to this with a lot of fashion shoes. I typically add my own shoe pads anyways.
Compared to my Taobao ribbon shoes and Bodyline shoes, I think that these shoes are far more superior.
I found those shoes to be lacking details like ruffles and generally a lot less comfortable.
A lot of girls love to go to Bodyline for shoes. But my gripe about them is the shoes often look really plastic-y like made for dolls!
So I don’t like their shoes too much.
I do have one problem with these Catherine Cottage shoes though.
For some reason they do not produce size 235.
I typically waver between size 230 or 235.
As I didn’t really want to buy shoes that are too small, I opted for size 240 which is toooo big and have to be worn with a couple of shoe pads and socks!
On to the next pair of shoes!
These shoes cost 6276 yen.
Front of the shoes!
The color of from the stock picture is more correct than what I have pictured here.
Like the pink shoes, they are made in Japan. Also made from a soft synthetic leather.
My only disappointment about these shoes is the front frilly design is made from ribbon.
I sure hope that holds up especially in the icky rain of Ireland.
The bows on the shoes are attached with a clip so they can be adjusted to be placed somewhere else which is nice.
These shoes also do not come in size 235. Other than that, I would say the quality of the shoes is the same as the pink ones.
I know Bodyline produces very similar shoes to these for half the price, but I still think they look a lot more plastic.
I also prefer less straps and a little heel so the shoes can be worn with classic and sweet lolita styles.
I’d like show you these Catherine Cottage shoes worn now!
Ahhh the pink shoes are just to die for!
And the brown shoes!
I really think they look good with this outfit!
I’m wearing my BtSSB chocolate cardigan with my ETC biscuit dress!
So! What do you think of Catherine Cottage shoes?
