Requesting Reader Feedback! Part 2 ♡

Hi everyone!

I’ve started to become more and more worried about my blog recently. :aseru:

Since I’ve started re-blogging again, my own sense of fashion has taken on a different direction and I’ve become completely obsessed with frilly dresses!

Not only that, I’m a very big fan of Japanese idols.

This all doesn’t make much sense to me…

And I’m quite concerned that I’m losing all audiences of my blog like this because I probably don’t have much of an audience that likes both things.

Do you guys have suggestions on what to do about this?
I’m not sure what to do.. besides to stop talking about idols. I think it just makes most people confused.. :aseru:

With regards to me changing my fashion… are you guys OK with this? I’m really sorry if not, but I can only write what I am passionate about. :aseru:

I hope that you can take the time to fill out these questions for me..
The more people that fill it out, the better I can write a better blog for you!

  1. Do you have suggestions on how to talk about idols and lolita fashion on my blog without alienating any part of my audience?
  2. Have you lost interest in my blog because of lolita?
  3. What does strawberryjam do well on her blog? (Photos? Writing? Content? Etc.)
  4. What does strawberryjam not do well? (Don’t be afraid to be honest!)
  5. What kind of posts do you enjoy the most of strawberryjam’s?
  6. What makes me special that keeps you coming back rather going somewhere else? (Please tell me! It can be the most minuscule thing!)

Thank you everyone for filling this out! :raburabu:
I know that some of you have filled this out before.. but I’d appreciate it if you could fill it out again to see how things have changed!

I will consider all feedback as I did before.

And again – I’m sorry for always having long spells of not posting… :aseru:

P.S. Here’s a picture of me from the weekend!
Sorry, I was making a derpy face, hahaha.

    1. Do you have suggestions on how to talk about idols and lolita fashion on my blog without alienating any part of my audience?
Well, it’s impossible to please everyone, of course! You could try only posting (perhaps schedule posts?) about certain topics on certain days so people know what to expect.

    2. Have you lost interest in my blog because of lolita?
Absolutely not! :kira: (In fact, the anime convention I mentioned in an earlier comment is this weekend, and although they’re not so amazing, I’d like to share the coordinates we have; maybe get some feedback if you don’t mind. How could I do that?)

    3. What does strawberryjam do well on her blog? (Photos? Writing? Content? Etc.)
I like the content and how you are able to write about it in a way that seems unique to me. You share content I’ve not seen/heard of before and your tutorials are very good! Your writing is nice; it’s concise and effectively shares your message. And yes, you do have very nice photos. ^^

    4. What does strawberryjam not do well? (Don’t be afraid to be honest!)
Hmm. Sometimes I would like a little more length to posts, or more frequent posts. But because I have my own site and know the time it takes to sit down and write longer posts (sometimes even short ones if you keep revising what you are going to say!) I don’t mind the waiting so much. I’ll only really start getting concerned if the silence goes for more than a month; then I’ll start wondering what happened. (But I do that myself unintentionally, so again, I understand. ^^; )

    5. What kind of posts do you enjoy the most of strawberryjam’s?
I really like the fashion, review, and tutorial posts. I also enjoy reading your “dailies” and seeing the pictures you take~ (So that’s basically everything lol) I’m a Hello!Project fan so I’ll generally enjoy your “idol” related posts too.

    6. What makes me special that keeps you coming back rather going somewhere else? (Please tell me! It can be the most minuscule thing!)
    You seem so sweet and adorable!!! Like, I want to be your friend but shy abkljdfldsaf ;v;

D: It’s almost 2am here and I have work tomorrow… so I’m really sorry for not responding to your whole comment.
I would really love to see your coord. You can PM it to me on the BBS?
I’m traveling on Thursday so the sooner you can send it, the better! :D

I finally responded to your PM. Sorry for being so late. :aseru:
You and your mom were super duper cute!

Thanks a lot for your feedback. You had a lot a good points to make! You gave me the idea to have “corners” or something so people not interested in the music can easily ignore?
I definitely should write longer posts… hahaha. Sometimes I truly am in a hurry and just think.. blahhh it’s good enough. :aseru: Bad attitude of mine. And I’d like to do more tutorials, but honestly don’t feel I know much.

          You are totally welcome to be my friend! I’m so glad you think I’m adorable. ;_;
          I’m super shy, hahaha.

1.Do you have suggestions on how to talk about idols and lolita fashion on my blog without alienating any part of my audience?
:strawberry: Since I like reading about both stuff I like it just the way it is now; but for others.. maybe you could put fashion (which is why people are mostly following you) in every post (next to other stuff).. even I you write just thing or two about it :D Or maybu you could make different corners; exp: Idols corner,…
2.Have you lost interest in my blog because of lolita?
:strawberry: No!! Lolita fashion is very cute and I like it a lottt :ongaku:
3.What does strawberryjam do well on her blog? (Photos? Writing? Content? Etc.)
:strawberry: Everything is perfect and cute :bear:
4.What does strawberryjam not do well? (Don’t be afraid to be honest!)
:strawberry: Nothing, except not posting enought offten, but I understand that you have life outside of this blog and that it’s hard to find time for everything :aseru:
5.What kind of posts do you enjoy the most of strawberryjam’s?
:strawberry: Hm hm …. Fashion & idols :P (But I would love to see more hairstyle inspired posts.. that is very interesting, but dont feel presured to make posts like that.. that was idea and not obligation!)
6.What makes me special that keeps you coming back rather going somewhere else? (Please tell me! It can be the most minuscule thing!)

      Thanks always, Tanja!

I’m not really good at hair to be honest. Really bad, hahaha. I’m so sorry.
Thanks for your suggestions and I’m glad you enjoy my blog as it is for the most part!

    1. Do you have suggestions on how to talk about idols and lolita fashion on my blog without alienating any part of my audience?
I’m totally fine with Lolita as I used to wear it and still like to see it. I think it doesn’t need any special introduction, it’s a fashion style, people who like other styles should still be fine seeing a post abou it every now and then. As for idols, people can just skip or speed-read? I mean, I would not stop following a blog just because part of the articles is not relevant for me.

    2. Have you lost interest in my blog because of lolita?
    Nope, on the contrary.

    3. What does strawberryjam do well on her blog? (Photos? Writing? Content? Etc.)
I like your overall style, the topics (I like blogs dealing with many different topics, it’s more fun to see a complex image of the blogger) and your photos are cute.

    4. What does strawberryjam not do well? (Don’t be afraid to be honest!)
Hm, dunno. If I don’t like something, I just skip it, I don!t think anything needs to be changed though,

    5. What kind of posts do you enjoy the most of strawberryjam’s?
I like your outfits and tutorials!

    6. What makes me special that keeps you coming back rather going somewhere else? (Please tell me! It can be the most minuscule thing!)
I like the versatility of posts, tutorials and that you and your style are genuine. Like, you’re not a walking advertisement for some brand or webshop. I really appreciate that.
