Download Japanese Fashion Magazine Scans ♡

Hi darlings! :raburabu:

Sometimes, I feel my outfits are so boring and uninspirational..

To get the creative juices flowing, I like looking at Japanese fashion magazines!

Zasshiko is a really great website for downloading scans! :bear:

All the fashion magazines have a couple of sections – latest fashion, shoes, makeup, hair, skincare, etc. So you should really choose the magazine you want to read based on the style you’re interested in!

There are a couple of magazines that are dedicated to nails, hair, etc. So if you’re just interested in that, just take a look at those magazines!

By the way, I would encourage everyone to buy the original magazines, but they’re very expensive compared to Western magazines. They weigh A LOT and shipping from Japan will indeed cost A LOT as well. You shouldn’t be surprised to drop $15 for each magazine! Nowadays, they also like to include goodies like bags, pouches, hair accessories, etc. That will also increase the shipping fee.

Here’s some magazines I’d recommend!

mina

This is a magazine with casual type of clothing covering the newest fashions.

KERA

This magazine covers a lot of subcultures. It’s got lolita, creepy kei, punk, etc. It’s got a lot of street fashion photos with girls in Harajuku with wacky styles.kerea

 ViVi/Ray/CanCam/JJ

A magazine for more mature ladies. It’s geared towards more the OL (office lady) crowd. So think age 22+ and up.vivi

Seventeen

This is a casual magazine for younger girls, ie. teens and preteens. It’s a lot more sweet and cute!17

egg/Popteen/SCawaii!

Magazines covers Gyaru style. Gyaru can be described as a more dramatic take on the current fashions. It’s paired with more heavy makeup including fake eyelashes and is inspired by Western fashion.popteen0513 (1)

That’s it then! Happy reading

By the way, if you girls have any questions, please don’t ever hesitate to ask me! You can ask me in the comments or in the contact form.

Even if it’s a, “How do I order from Taobao?”, “Where can I find xxxxxx on Taobao?”, etc!

I promise I don’t bite!  I promise to answer all questions!

P.S. Happy 4th of July all my fellow Patriots! :raburabu:

Hey! I’ve been a reader since the turn of your blog for fashion/makeup posts. I reallly enjoy these sort of things, and have been wanting to start up my own blog as well. But, I’m afraid to actually make the jump and start one. For one, I’m not sure I’m that committed to making daily posts, as well as afraid of having photos of myself out there for everyone to see. Hence my hesitation to start up a blog. As a fan of your blog, I was just wondering why you started, and how to exactly start a fashion blog. I have a blog already, but that’s like a personal daily life journal rather than focusing on fashion and makeup. I don’t want to mix the two, but I’m not sure if I want to run two blogs. I appreciate any advice. :)

Hi Vi! Thanks for commenting. I’ll need a little more time to respond to your comment. Is it OK if I make a post to respond to your comment?

That looks like an amazing website!
Unfortunately the files are in .rar format and I mainly use a Mac  I have a Windows computer as well, but I don’t have a program to unzip .rar files on there either. :x I guess I’ll go look for that download of WinRAR/WinZip/something that my brother got and then transfer the unzipped files. :3
Uwaa~ But yeah, definitely one thing I’d like to do when I go to Japan is buy some magazines and books :kira:

One magazine I was introduced to via another blog is Soup! I downloaded the PDF preview (about seven or eight pages).
    http://www.indexcomm.co.jp/soup/
To view the preview, go to the 目次 tab and click 最新号立ち読み underneath the cover image.
I checked and it is indeed on Zasshiko.~
